There were so many new things yesterday, so the game release wasn't announced here in the blog. But now is the time to introduce UNO³ ™! This single player game takes all the fun from the classic card game and makes it a quick game that you can play against a number of opponents from all over the world. These opponents are not the best Uno players I have seen, so you should be able to outmaneuver them!

Unfortunately, we made a mistake the first day UNO was available, so it was available to everyone. If you can't play other card games because of local laws, you won't be able to play UNO either.

Grrr! I HATE Herr Altman! I could've stopped the other player from going out of the game when he had UNO, and Herr Altman played a "Skip" card on me! What kind of idiot plays a "Skip" card at such a time??? He should've been hoping I could prevent the win! They're teaming up, I tell you!!

The game was available for less than 24 hours, not a week. If you could play it after Friday, you were not identified as being from a state where card games are banned. We want our site to be 100% legal, and it is in our interest to offer as many games as possible to everyone. Our legal advice says that card games are not legal for us to offer in those states.

Always? This was a mistake when the game was released, we forgot to put state restrictions on it. I don't think we've done that before, definitely not recently.

Fool, your comment about it 'always working when King.com tests it' is slightly inaccurate. While it may always work on a perfect internet connection, remember that in the real world connections lag and hiccup. The amount of time allowed to press UNO is so short, you really have to spam it to work.

I know, these things are harder to test. We do simulate lag and other frequent problems that might occur when the site is busy, but it's hard to test that perfectly :)

For those complaining that sometimes 'UNO' doesn't register against other players, I thought so too, at first. Eventually, I learned that you have to spam 'UNO' constantly as play moves to a player with only 2 cards. Click madly away, you aren't penalized.
