Player Avatars

All players can design their own personal animated Player avatar if they have enough jewels. The player avatar is used to present you when you play challenges, send messages and in other parts of King.com. Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to express yourself.

If you want to design your own Player avatar just go to the Community section and select Edit Avatar from the menu. Here you can design your personal avatar by adjusting the following elements:

  • Heads – Pick one of the male and female head types. They have different noses, chins and characteristics. You can also change the skin tone.
  • Hairstyle – Select a hairstyle you like, and colour it in a colour of your liking.
  • Hats and caps – Pick one from our extensive range of head attire.
  • Facial hair – Lots of beards and moustaches for you to pick from.
  • Glasses – Add stylish glasses if you like.
  • Add-ons – Select from fun add-ons as freckles, scars and earrings to finalize your avatar.

You can also test out the avatar’s different moods that will be used to represent you and also allow you to express yourself in the site. If you are too lazy to personalize your avatar, just click random male or random female until you are satisfied.

    Achievements and Awards

By completing a certain number of Achievements in any of the games you earn a special Award for that game. An achievement is a special task for each game that requires skill and knowledge of the game to accomplish, and achievement can only be accomplished when playing a tournament with real cash entry costs. Only Gold players can qualify for Awards.

All Awards that you earn will be visible on your personal Profile page for all to see. Your Award tablet will be filled up as you accomplish the set number of achievements. The exact numbers of achievements you need to fulfil, and what the achievement is, will vary from game to game. If you look at the Awards section of your personal Profile page you can see how many achievements you have accomplished and what the required level is for the next Award.

There is one award for you to earn in each game. All awards are available in increasing levels from Bronze to Silver, Gold, Platinum, Ruby and finally Diamond level. To collect your award you need to increase the number of achievements you have completed to the right level for each of the levels. Only the best players manage to fill our their cabinet.

    Friends and Enemies lists

The Friends list lets you keep track of friends and other players you often play. To add someone to your Friends list, you need to send them a request. If the request is accepted, you have become friends, which makes it easier to chat, send a message or a challenge. You can at any time remove anyone from the list, but remember that doing so will remove yourself from their list as well. Enemies are just the opposite of friends. Just keep track of your favorite opponents to remind yourself who you'd like to beat to get even.

    Messages

As a Gold player you also get the option to send text messages to any other player in the site. Jewel players can unlock this function by collecting enough jewels. This allows you communicate and get to know each other. You can find incoming messages in the Community section, and here you can also create your own messages. When you have a new unread message an icon will flash in the service top navigation. Messages older than one month will be automatically deleted.

    Challenges

A Challenge is a feature that can be unlocked by collecting jewels. A challenge works like a normal tournament except it allows you pick your opponent. This lets you play against friends and foes alike. You may at any time send and also receive challenges from other players. Accepting a challenge is voluntary, but unless at least one opponent accepts, the challenge is cancelled.

You should be aware that with challenges, the matching system is inactive as you pick your own opponents. This means that you may face opponents of a higher skill than your own. The ranking of your opponents is always displayed so that you may consider whether you want to accept the challenge or not.

    Challenge types

There are two types of challenges:

  • Face Off Challenge – this is a 2-player tournament that only allows each participant to play one game in the tournament. As soon as both players have played, the tournament is completed and the winner is decided. If the receiver declines the challenge it is cancelled and the challenger is refunded.
  • Battle Progressive Challenge – this is a small Progressive jackpot tournament where up to 10 players can participate. Each player may play several times; although paying the set entry costs each time thereby raising the prize in the jackpot. The challenge automatically closes at a preset closing time. At least one of the challenged opponents has to accept for the challenge to be closed, or the challenger is refunded.

    Sending Challenges

You will find the “Challenge” option available at several places in the service. Click on the Challenge button on a Gold player’s profile page or go to the Community section and select “Send Challenge”. Your “Friends” list makes it easy to add your friends to any challenge you issue.

When you send a challenge you must first select what type of challenge you want to send; a Face Off or a Battle Progressive. Then you pick a game to challenge your opponent(s) in, and set an entry cost. The next step is to add the opponent(s) you want to challenge; write their username or add them from you Friends list. Finally you must also pay the entry cost you set for the challenge and directly play the tournament for the challenge to be sent out to your opponent(s).

    Accepting Challenges

All challenges that users receive end up in your Open Challenges list as well as in your Message box. You will also see a flashing icon in the top navigation of the site when you have received an unanswered challenge. You can click on this icon to directly view the new challenge. When you look at a challenge you will be able to see who the opponent is, the entry cost and the selected game. To accept the challenge, you have to pay the entry cost and play. You can also decline the challenge.

    Challenge results

If a challenge is closed and the winner is decided you can check out Completed challenges in the “My Games” section of the ”My Account” page and click on the ”challenges” tab and ”show all completed challenges” to see who won and what the prize was. If your opponents have not yet played, you can check out the current standing by clicking ”Open challenges”. All your received challenges that you still have not responded to will stay in your Message inbox until you decide to accept or decline.

    Winning and Losing moods

You can unlock Winning and Losing moods by collecting jewels. You can then choose which mood you want as your Active moods when playing tournaments. This means that when the tournament results are presented your Avatar will express your emotions by using the Winning or Losing mood of your choice depending of the outcome of the tournament. So make sure to annoy your opponents by rubbing in those victories real good.

There are several special features you can unlock and show on your profile page. The first features we offer are:

When a player receives more than 10 gifts in total, the oldest one is deleted. You cannot give more gifts to players that already have a gift from you in their profiles, you need to wait until your previous gift disappears from that profile.

    Diploma Hunts

Diploma hunts are special game challenges that will appear on a regular basis. They allow you to earn prestigious diplomas to your profile by performing certain in-game tasks within the allotted timeframe. Diplomas come in 3 sizes; 1, 2 or 3 pieces where a 3 piece Diploma offers you to participate in 3 different hunts to collect all and get to see the final picture. Only tasks performed in tournaments with cash entry fees will count toward your Diploma Hunts.

To see which Diploma hunts are currently active, click the Diploma overview button on the left menu of the community page. Here you can also see what the task you have to complete to succeed in the Hunt is and how many times it has to be achieved. Go back to this page, your Diploma view on your Profile page or the tournament listing of the active game to see how close you are to collecting the piece. Once you have collected the piece you will get a message and see it on your profile, but only the owner of a full diploma may see the secret animations it unlocks.

    Personal Diploma Hunts

If you fail a Diploma Hunt, or simply miss it, you can still get it later. All previous Diploma Hunts can be activated on the Diploma overview page at any time. When activated, they will give you a new chance to perform the needed tasks for that Diploma or Diploma piece. The personal Diploma Hunt will have the same timeframe as the original hunt had, and you can only have one personal Diploma Hunt active at a time.

    Castles

Your Castle is the pride of your profile. There are four different Castle Levels: Keep, Fortress, Castle and Palace. To reach the next Castle Level, you need to be active on the site and perform the tasks listed on the Castle Status page.

Only Club and Gold Players have access to the Castle level, and only Gold Players have access to the Palace level, with the most extraordinary castles. However, non-Gold Players can upgrade to a higher Castle Level by paying a small fee.

In order to buy Castles, Towers and other objects in the Castle Editor on your profile page, you need stars. Stars are earned in Score Hunts, which are found on the tournament page of each game. You can also buy stars if you want to get them more quickly.
